YWAM

I just realized that probably a lot of people don't quite know what YWAM is. Well it's a program that stands for Youth With A Mission and essentially it is a program that teaches young adults how to be disciples of God to nations all around the world. I have chosen Australia with an outreach to Cambodia. The first three months will be spent in Newcastle Australia where I will be attending classes and lectures learning the word of God and about His love so that when I am sent out into Cambodia I will have knowledge and be able to speak to others with wisdom. In Cambodia, the focus will be working with young women and young children who have been saved from the horrors of human trafficking. The classes I will be attending in Australia will prepare me for the struggles and heartaches that Cambodia will bring.

I leave today and I'm taking the train for about 2 hours or so up to Newcastle where I will meet my leaders and other students! I've been waiting for this day for a long time and I'm really excited for what's in store! I forgot to mention that I drove here in Oz two days ago, it was really weird driving on the other side of the car and other side of the road, but I caught on quick and it was actually really fun... and I'm still alive so that's a good thing! Anyways, I have to go pack up everything for the next part of my journey and I have to apologize to Christina for the lack of pictures, they will be up very soon as I should have internet on my OWN computer by tonight! I don't know how much free time I will have once school starts, but I'll try and keep this updated as much as possible! Bye for now xoxo
